At Community Lift Inc., we invest in local entrepreneurs to spark lasting change in the Busoga region, especially in Jinja and nearby communities, because when local entrepreneurs succeed, entire communities thrive.​

Who We Are
​
We are a passionate group with deep, longstanding connections to Uganda who have witnessed the urgent need for grassroots support. Our team brings diverse expertise in marketing, customer service, healthcare, sales, higher education, and nonprofit management — allowing us to offer holistic support beyond just capital.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all donations are fully tax-deductible. We are 100% volunteer-run, with our board covering all overhead expenses so every dollar donated goes directly to program activities. We hold the Gold Seal from Guide Star (Candid)

How We Work

We support individuals with promising ideas or growing small businesses by providing more than just start-up capital. Our hands-on, holistic approach includes business planning, marketing support, and financial guidance. We stay actively involved through the launch and for up to a year after, helping ensure long-term success.

Through our trusted local network, built over 12 years, we identify dedicated entrepreneurs. Each one commits to reinvesting a portion of their profits to help fund future business leaders — creating a self-sustaining cycle of opportunity.
